1 day old chicks:
Straight Run:$10/chick or $90/10 chicks

Young birds (15-18 weeks):
Male/$30 or Female/$45
If you're looking at procuring young birds, the process is for my hens to lay eggs (1 week), I would then incubate them for you (3 weeks) and then raise them until they're of laying age of 15-18 weeks old (4-5 months or until they lay an egg). This would be a time frame of approximately 6 months. I have a paid waiting list and I fill the orders in the order they come in.

Backyard mixed flock hatching eggs, chicks and young birds
We have a backyard mixed flock of chickens that lay a beautiful array of colors...Sapphire Sky (light green), Black astralorps (pink/red), Black sexlinks (light-dark brown), ISA Browns (dark brown), an Olive Egger (dark green), Leghorn (white) & Buff Orpington (tan).
They have an American Bresse rooster over them and all are dual purpose type breeds.
They have 2 acres to free range and forage in and are very spoiled :-)
A dozen hatching eggs are $25
Chicks are $5/each straight run

Because of the nature of this transaction, all sales are final, there are no hatch guarantees, returns, refunds or cancellations. Hatching eggs and birds are packed with care when shipped, but it is recommended that, if possible, you pick them up personally, to avoid extra travel mishaps through the mailing system. However, shipped eggs, chicks & young birds do travel this way and so I will offer this to you as well, if you agree & prefer. I use express overnight USPS shipping only, to try to insure they arrive the next day but still there are no guarantees.
Farm pick-up is free, preferred & by appointment only.
